AIDEN T. SHAW / CASE STUDIES
From concept to finished frame.
A closer look at selected projects where directing, cinematography, editing, creative development, and campaign thinking intersect.
CASE 01 / MUSIC VIDEO + NARRATIVE
POET | World of Confusion
THE IDEA
Build a music video that behaves more like a short film than a conventional band-performance piece. The visual is carried by actors, atmosphere, and narrative rather than performance coverage.
THE APPROACH
Use the song as the emotional structure while letting cinematic staging, color, close detail, and character performance do the storytelling. The piece demonstrates the film side of Aiden’s music-video work without requiring dialogue.

CASE 02 / BRAND FILM + MARKETING
Roberts’ Tree Experts | Mission Statement
THE CONTEXT
The film was developed inside Aiden’s broader Marketing Director role, where production, social media, advertising, media placement, creative assets, and campaign execution are connected rather than treated as separate departments.
THE VALUE
The project shows how commercial filmmaking can support a larger brand system. The video is not only a finished piece, but also a source of visual material for paid, organic, website, and long-form marketing.
CREATIVE DIRECTION / PRODUCTION / CINEMATOGRAPHY / EDITING / MARKETING INTEGRATION
The through-line
Whether the project begins with a song, a script, or a business objective, the process starts by identifying the emotional and strategic job of the piece. Production decisions follow from that purpose.
